Incorporating texture: tried & true tips for art teachers.

CRAZY ABOUT QUILTS Faith Ringgold's storybook, Tar Beach, is a favorite with Elizabeth DeBellis and her students. Liz introduces the story quilt artwork of Faith Ringgold and then reads her biographical children's story. The students draw pictures that relate to the story.
