NSW:Bushfire burning in Royal National Park

SYDNEY, Feb 6 AAP - On the seventh day of Sydney's heatwave, a bushfire is burning
in the Royal National Park.

"There is one hectare burning but it is low intensity," Ben Shepherd, spokesman for
the NSW Rural Fire Service, said on Sunday.

The fire is not threatening any homes near the national park located south of Sydney.

Strong winds are expected from the coast which will cause some difficulties, but rain
is also expected.
