Qld: Cash needed for new RSPCA Qld base

Queensland Premier PETER BEATTIE has appealed to the corporate sector .. for five million
dollars needed to construct the RSPCA's new base planned for Brisbane.

Mr BEATTIE'S announced a 19 million dollar facility will be constructed in Redbank
in Brisbane's west .. replacing the current campus in Fairfield.

He says the government will contribute 14 million dollars to the new facility .. which
will take two years to construct .. and has appealed for the remaining money from the
corporate sector.
