MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 27, 1997--Atrix International, Inc. announced today that it has been notified that Heartland Advisors, Milwaukee, recently filed a schedule 13G with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission reporting that Heartland has acquired and now owns 500,000 shares of Atrix International's common stock. This represents approximately 8.8% of Atrix International's outstanding common stock. The filing indicated that the shares were acquired in the ordinary course of business and were acquired for investment purposes.
